The Sea Organ
White marble steps running down into the sea, with pipes hidden underneath. The waves and the wind push air through them, so the sea itself plays music. Go at sunset, sit on the steps, and stay for a while.

The Venetian gate of 1543, winged lion and all, and for centuries the only way into the city by land. Worth walking through rather than past.
